This is a song I first encountered in the ever so popular AMV 3 - Hell being glued together with a scene from the anime Chobits. I though it funny and also the tune got stuck in my head for a while, so I youtubed the full version (only to end up with full Bad Religion discography downloaded in no time). Give it a shot, it's quite a good song.
Should anyone be interested in the youtube video (not Chobits, mind you), it's here.
Peace,
out.
Adam
P.S.: There is also a Chobits version in the related videos on youtube. If anyone is interested, I can provide you with the whole series.
Seen it. It's nice enough, although it does have that annoying kind of ending where things finally start working out in the end, yet we, the viewers (after suffering alongside the protagonist through bad and worse!) get to see none of that.
ReplyDeleteAah, I know that all too well. It's common thing in animes, though. Either one or both of the main characters dies, friends butt in, the show ends or whatever. I miss the proper endings, yes, it would be entertaining if someone actually decided to make a show which is like AFTER things get settled.
ReplyDeleteAs for the song? (Which was kind of my main concern as far as this post went.)
Oh...Bad Religion. Overrated band with early-Chaotic-like politic songs with privitive (punk) music with....I haven't listed them for so long.
ReplyDelete*start playing Stranger Than Fiction*
But seriously you are one of the last perons I would suspect of listening the Godbusters.
So:

In a careless creation
When there’s no “above”
There’s no justice
Just a cause and a cure
And a bounty of suffering
It seems we all endure
And what I’m frightened of
Is that they call it “God’s love”
chaos is the score upon which reality is written
the timeless, swirling gyroscopic horde
I am just an atom in an ectoplasmic sea
without direction or a reason to exist
-----------
Take these words
Be on your way
You will find your

> As for the song?
ReplyDelete*shrug* It's punk rock. Decent enough, I guess.
Meh, you don't get the awesomeness of the whole idea :) Also after watching the whole Chobits series yesterday and today, I came to appreciate the AMV scene even more.
ReplyDeleteBut nevermind.
...DOES NOT COMPUTE. BEEP.
ReplyDeleteWhat??!
ReplyDeleteFuturama referrence. Nevermind.
ReplyDeleteOh, right, I haven't seen much of Futurama. Never I mind :)
